Australian Cranio Maxillo Facial Foundation

Established in the late 1960s, the Australian Cranio Maxillo Facial Foundation (ACMFF) specialises in the reconstruction of facial deformities as a result of birth defects and/or car accidents. Much of this work is undertaken in developing countries with more complex procedures requiring patients to be transferred to Adelaide for surgery and treatment.

emdf Consultancy Director Elizabeth Davis worked with a small team in the ACMFF from 1993 to 1996 to successfully develop and implement a Strategic Plan to ensure the Foundation's financial well being. She achieved this through a combination of the following:

  • Working with Ausaid
  • International fundraising
  • Management of a donor database
  • Repositioning of the organisation as a result of quantitative and qualitative research
  • Development of contemporary marketing campaigns utilising all media.
